The project of the Desuite Residence centres on the transformation of an industrial building in disuse, located in downtown Milano, into a residential building.
The Residence as “a home away from home”: this is the idea on which the project is based, a concept which has inspired the distribution of the spaces and the technological and formal choices.
Intended for a young business clientele, each unit is designed attentively, down to the smallest details, and vaunts intelligent domotic control systems to increase comfort and security and to guarantee high management flexibility and autonomy.
An interior capable of creating a domestic scenario rich in different perspectives.
A flexible façade system which guarantees an excellent and scenic regulation of natural light, also according to needs for privacy, and which makes it possible to model and define the space in different ways.
The interior has been divided into 16 apartments which exploit the available height through split levels and differences in floor height to make the units flexible.
In addition to the two floors of the living area, the complex comprises service areas (laundry and garage), a spa-fitness area in the basement and a terrace with solarium on the roof.
The project is completed by a graphic design which identifies and characterizes the brand, and which continues in the interior, providing a coordinated image.
